A beautiful pair of 18 karat yellow gold and blue enamel cufflinks made by designer Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger was an artist who joined the team at Tiffany's and in the mid fifties worked to produce numerous intricate designs for the company. This is his "Olives" design. These cufflinks have a nice bright color contrast of deep raised gold and blue enamel stripes. The blue is a royal color, which stands out beautifully against the yellow gold. They are vintage cufflinks and have a classic look. They are in great condition, marked with maker's marks, both of Schlumberger, and Tiffany on the bar. They are also marked with 18K. Cufflinks measure 15mm x 11.5mm, and the back measures 13mm x 10mm. They weigh 15.3 grams total. These cufflinks would make a great gift for someone looking to add a touch of elegance to their evening or daytime dress. Come with Tiffany Box and leather pouch. Circa 1990.
