This beautiful diamond flower bypass ring is from the Victorian era. The diamonds are lovely chunky old mine cuts from the top that are prong set, they have a flat back like a rose cut. The antique diamonds give an organic feel to the piece, making it all the more special. Due to the cut, the diamonds naturally range in size and shape. The 12 smaller diamonds, representing petals, range from approximately 2.50 mm to 3.00mm in size. The two center diamonds are approximately 3.50mm in size. There are 14 diamonds with a total diamond weight of approximately 1.3 carats. The diamonds have a slight cognac tone with minor inclusions.
This flower bypass has a lovely high carriage, the diamond daisies sit upright on the finger. This ring weighs 4.70 grams and the ring has been tested to be 18 karat gold. This piece is a size 8 1/4, however it may be sized with the help of your local jeweler.
A lovely moody Victorian Ring circa 1890, this would look perfect in candle light.
