This beautiful 15K gold Victorian memorial ring is a size 7.5 and features a blue enamel stripe motif with 11 rose cut diamonds measuring 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm in diameter. Flanking the stripe motif are two little gold tulips with a diamond center that then transition into the gold band with a blue enamel diamond shape. "Jessie died Oct 25 1882" is inscribed inside the band. Mourning rings date back to the 14th century but it wasn't until the 17th century that they became more clearly distinguished from Memento mori rings.
