14K Gold Art Nouveau Amethyst, Pearl and Enamel Lavaliere with Chain
This is an elegant and finely detailed Art Nouveau era lavaliere (circa 1900s to 1910s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold. Flowing lines and floral motifs are some of the design elements used in the Art Nouveau period and this has both. From the pearl encrusted bale the lavaliere flows into swooping pearl encrusted arms that transition into a sweet enamel floral element. A well saturated faceted pear cut amethyst measuring 11 mm x 6.5mm (estimated at 1.5 carats) dangles from this. The 27 seed pearls ranging in size from 1mm to 3 mm.
The back of the piece is marked 14K. It measures from the top of the bale to bottom of the amethyst 1 1/4" and is 3/4" wide. It is hung on a 16" 14k gold chain. The total weigh of both is 3 grams.
The beautiful vibrant amethyst and classic Art Nouveau design make this a stand out piece. Perfect to add a pop of color to your neck line.
