These charming little star earrings are slightly asymmetrical, as if they were drawn by hand, or were two starfish found on the beach. Each of the star’s five points are adorned with a Rose Cut diamond, with one central diamond framed by milgrain work that creates a smaller, carved star within the larger star. The earrings are made of 14k gold, with silver fronts. Circa 1970’s or 1980’s, the stars were originally components of a larger piece; we used them to create these one-of-a-kind stud earrings.
The twelve diamonds each measure 1.7 mm, for a total carat weight of .10. Combined, the earrings weigh 2.3 grams. Each earring is approximately 1/2” x 1/2”.
