14K Gold Georgian Era Diamond Flower Ring

$3,500.00

A stunning sterling silver front and 14 karat gold diamond ring from the Georgian era. This ring is an antique treasure, a rare find. The ring is composed of a 4mm old mine cut, cullet set diamond at the center that is 0.46 carats; 6 smaller diamonds also in a cullet setting encircle the larger diamond to create a flower. The smaller diamonds are approximately 2.8 mm in size. The total carat weight of the ring is 1ct. Georgian era rings are simple, elegant and beautifully hand-made. What makes them stand out the most is the quality of the gemstones along with the setting that fits around the shape of the stone. The cullet settings here stand out because the color of the diamond against the sterling silver adds luminosity to every facet of the gemstone and in turn of the flower on the ring. The flower is approximately 1/2 inch in size.  The split ring band is not marked but has been acid tested to 14k.  The ring is a size 6.5 but the band could be re-sized by a professional jeweler. This ring really sparkles! It is a lovely ring for a feminine look.
