This is a beautiful 9 karat gold pendant-award from a pigeon match in 1906. It's marked for Glasgow, Scotland, and has beautiful cutout work with a thistle pattern on the front. It's mostly rose gold with some yellow gold around the front inscribed shield. The front inscription reads “Del from Bob” and the back reads “Won by Jas Buchanan” as well as “At Ballander Pigeon Match, 1906”. This piece measures 1 3/4” from top to bottom and is 1” wide. It weighs 8.5 grams and has a 6.7 mm bail opening that fits a variety chain sizes.
