14K Gold Diamond and Peridot Renaissance Revival Earrings

$1,150.00

A beautiful pair of 14k gold earrings featuring lovely peridots and pearls, circa the 1950’s. The gold is organic in shape, with wirework and gold beading, reminiscent of Renaissance Revival, when romance and luxury were the inspiration for jewelry designed to be worn alongside lavish gowns. An Akoya pearl is suspended from each earring, topped with a wirework design that creates continuity between the upper and lower pieces of the earring. At the center of each earring is a pear-shaped peridot, with an open back that allows for translucence. Above the peridot is a sparkling, single cut diamond, a simple touch that ties it all together.

The earrings measure  1 1/4” x 1/2”. The peridots measure 5.2 x 4.2 mm; the akoya pearls measure 6mm; and the single cut diamond is approximately 1.5 mm. Combined, the earrings weigh 5.4 grams. The earrings are marked on the back as 14k, with an unidentified maker’s mark of ATL.

Bright and feminine, these earrings will add elegance to any evening dress. For pierced ears.
