This is a very special vintage 'ball and chain' motif chain necklace from the 1980s. There are 10 balls measuring 4 mm that are separated by 1 3/4” segments of finely linked chain.
The rhythm of the repeating gold ball and chain segments is mesmerizing and adds texture close to the neck. This texture makes it an excellent choice for stacking with other necklaces for a layered look. The entire piece measures 16 1/2 inches in length and weighs 5.3 grams. It has 14k gold markings on the clasp.
