14K Gold Platinum Topped Art Deco Diamond Dangle Earrings

$1,450.00
A lovely pair of early Art Deco 14 karat white and yellow gold diamonds earrings. The earrings are white gold on the front and yellow gold on the back. The pair are kinetic dangling earrings that are composed of three parts: a top 2mm Old European Cut  diamond encircled by white gold in an illusion setting, a bar of white gold that has a vertical design and connecting function, and a final larger diamond measuring 4mm, also in an illusion setting. Both the diamonds have good clarity, they are cognac diamonds, gemstones that have a slight brownish cast. They are beautiful old diamonds, with SL1 in clarity. There is approximately .60 total carat weight in this pair of earrings.

What makes these earrings stand out is the illusion setting and delicate milgrain work around the diamonds. This style of setting makes the diamonds appear as if they are  floating. The bottom diamonds are an old European cut diamonds, slightly darker than the top ones. The combination of soft lines and geometric form make these dangle earrings appear both sharp and romantic.

This pair of earrings are unmarked; they have been acid tested to 14 karats and platinum. They weigh 3.2 grams and date to the 1920s. The earrings dangle approximately 1 inch. These earrings add a fantastic vintage look to any outfit- perfect for night or day!
